My Lincoln MKX was transported in a move from So California to Rapid City, SD. Because of time frame and destination (Rapid City is not on a route that is easy to go through on your way to somewhere else.) it was difficult finding an open carrier for the timeframe we needed. After switching to an enclosed carrier, arrangements were made quickly and my vehicle was picked up by a very nice couple with an enclosed carrier and in the perfect timeframe and delivered in perfect condition exactly when we needed it. Although more expensive, going with the enclosed carrier removed some stress from our move since we didn't have to worry about my vehicle. Scott Young at Red carpet was very helpful and communication with him was great. An open carrier would have cost us $1260 and the enclosed carrier was $1910. Worth every bit paying the extra for us in our circumstance. Would do it again and recommend Red Carpet, especially for those who have never shipped a vehicle before.
