I transported my car from Boston to San Francisco Bay Area. I had called several places and actually booked with another company beforehand. But as the move date got closer the other company didn't give me any assurance that I was going to get my car picked up. So I cancelled my order with the other company and called Delano at Red Carpet. Delano talked with me for 30 mins about the whole process, gave me information on the types of cars out there, other bids, and never pressured me with any specific price. He even worked with me on reducing the deposit to Red Carpet and increasing my bid for the transport company. My first available date was on a Thursday and my Saturday they were able to find someone to pick up my car, but the only thing was that the pick up wasn't until the following Thursday. But I had to leave on Sunday (4 days before the pick up) so I had to make arrangements to leave my key with a friend to drop off to the trucking company on Thursday. That was definitely not convienent but overall not too difficult. So on the scheduled pick up date the trucking company actually called me and told me they couldn't pick up until Friday morning, so a little late. But I received my car the following Monday, which was only 3 days of transit! I was very happy that they were able to deliver early and both Delano and the trucking company (Down South Auto) was good in the whole process. One thing that I really appreciated was that Delano communicated with me constantly to let me know the progress of the transport. I would recommend Red Carpet Transport and would use again if I have ship a car again.
