Overall, this was a very good experience. I contacted Jerry on a Friday morning to make arrangements to move a Toyota T-100 truck from Florida to Ohio. He called back literally 1 hour later with a carrier that was scheduled to pick up the truck the next day. The truck was picked up the next day, and delivered to us the following Tuesday. The only glitch came when we received a call on Sunday (after the truck had been picked up) from another represenatative at Red Carpet (Jerry was off for the weekend), who told us that the driver had quoted an incorrect price for the move, and that he wanted $120.00 more. We were told he apparently thought he was picking up a sedan, and didn't realize it was a truck. After explaining that we felt that we were not at fault for this mistake, the representative agreed to pick up the greater portion of the additional charge, if we would agree to pay the balance. I only bring this up to point out that while we were disappointed that there was the additional cost, we feel Red Carpet acted very professionally in dealing with this problem, and worked to remedy a potentially difficult situation. Jerry even contacted us later that day to apologize and take full responsibility, even though we later learned that it was more the driver's error than his. In the end we were very happy with the speed with which a carrier was found, the promptness of the delivery, and the manner in which Red Carpet and Jerry conducted business. We will definitely consider using them again should the need arise in the future.
