We shipped two vehicles with Red Carpet from Seattle, WA to Sarasota, FL. The first was picked up and delivered as scheduled. Since we had a vehicle in Sarasota when we arrived we were completely flexible on pick up and delivery of our Toyota pickup. That flexibility was fortunate since the delivery of our second vehicle was a comedy of errors, but through no fault of Red Carpet. The carrier company used was Motion Auto Carriers. The comedy of errors was: they were a day late in scheduled pick up which was no problem. Their truck broke down in Portland; then, since our truck was loaded last it had to come off the carrier for them to unload other vehicles. Unfortunately, the carrier locked the keys to our truck inside our truck so they couldn't get it off the carrier to unload other vehicles. They must have hired a locksmith to get in to retrieve the keys and he set off the alarm system! We get a call from the carrier, with the alarm blasting in the background, wanting to know how to shut if off! The pickup arrived in Sarasota a couple of days late but in good condition. Despite the delivery comedy we would use Red Carpet again.
