Excellent service, but plan ahead!

Overall both the broker at Red Carpet, Patrick, and the driver from the carrier Alston Transfer were very helpful and friendly. They were very prompt to respond if they could not pick up the phone when I called. My car arrived in good condition within the estimated time frame from the date of pick-up. The only negative comment I would have, which is not a reflection of the service providers, is that the system of bidding for drivers seems very opaque and arbitrary. I had to wait much longer (2 weeks) than anticipated to get my car picked up so my best advice to anyone who is planning on shipping a car is to plan ahead, and try to find a broker/carrier as soon as possible!
