Red Carpet worked closely with me to deal with a couple restrictions and situations. My contact, Cheryl, explained the process very clearly to me, which was helpful since I had never conducted any business with the auto transport industry before. She worked with me to find a carrier that could deliver my vehicle in a specific time frame. She was always polite and prompt with communication. As a bonus, she's extremely friendly, which I value from representatives.
Eventually we found out that the carrier would not be able to carry out that job due to vehicle failure. Cheryl was prompt in contacting me when the problem came up, which was fortunate. If she had been slow, a lot of plans would probably have been completely disrupted. Cheryl found another carrier pretty quickly that could make the original timeline, but recommended against taking it due to the lack of feedback for the carrier, so she spent more time finding more well-known carriers. Cheryl gave me several options that would fall slightly outside of or still within my time frame. I made the most convenient choice, which ended up being a day earlier than I had wanted to get the vehicle. If I recall correctly, the price quoted to me was higher than the original carrier; around $680 I believe. I assume this was due to the last-minute scheduling that took place. When I picked up my vehicle, however, it ended up being lower!
The actual pickup of the vehicle occurred on the shoulder of the freeway, due to circumstances that were completely my fault. The driver himself worked with me to meet up, release the vehicle, and take care of payment. I was a little nervous doing this on the shoulder, but the driver took good care in positioning his and my vehicle safely. My car arrived almost exactly as I left it. The only change was some extra dirt on the outside since it was an open carrier. I'm grateful for the level of flexibility given to me by both Cheryl (Red Carpet) and the carrier. I would definitely do business with them again if I needed to transport more vehicles.
