I just had a vehicle transported by Pristine from North Carolina to Iowa. Brandon was my sales person. He gave me a quote of $600.00 total, no additional fees. I called to verify this quote and was assured not once but, three times that this would be the total cost. Pristine took my deposit of $200.00 and told me that the remaining $400.00 would be paid to the driver when the vehicle was delivered. I sent two different e-mails after the deposit was paid asking Brandon to contact me about the pickup date. He did not respond to either e-mail. When the truck arrived for the pickup, the driver said nothing about an increase in costs. The vehicle was delivered the next day and I was informed that the fee was now $700.00. I showed the driver my contract for $600.00 and he said too bad. If I wanted my vehicle I would have to pay the additional $300.00. I called Pristine and talked to Jestina who was the only person who would answer the phone. She said she was sorry but, they had trouble finding a driver who would transport my vehicle to Iowa for their quote. THATS NOT MY PROBLEM! Pristine quoted the ride and should have honored their quote. No one contacted me about any increased costs or I would have told them to return my deposit. I had several other transportation outfits quote me the job for less than I ended up paying Pristine. I should have believed the reviews and not trusted this company. I'm going to report them to the Fort Lauderdale better business bureau. As for as I concerned, these guys are just common crooks.
