I was gathering quotes to ship a hummer from Colorado to Washington state. Granted, I took the second to lowest bid, but they seemed capable and upfront so I accepted their bid and paid a $175 deposit. Pickup day came and I get a call saying that the driver wasn't capable, had no insurance, etc. Just a bunch of lies. So they said they were sending a new driver who would be there the next day. Then they sent me a contract with double the price. I asked them why they were not going to honor the original contract and I was told because the vehicle was oversize and they hadn't planned on that. I told them it was the same vehicle the original bid was based on and we got into it from there. I was not happy but they pretty much had me by the short hairs so I said yes, let's do it. Then "James" gets calls me back and says it's all set up, they just need more money. $200 should do it. Should? I said no, go pound sand. he starts yelling at me about all kinds of things and I reminded him of the contract price we agreed on. He said that wouldn't be enough, but how about just another hundred dollars. All of this was obviously crap and he was just trying to get more money. I finally just hung up and when he called me back, he stated they his side would pay the extra hundred. I had given up and told him to just do it. The driver (MB Transport) was great! Super nice guy, communicative. He showed up but wouldn't release the vehicle until I paid him what Premium told him to get. So again, they ripped me off. They also ripped off the driver as he had a contract stating what he would get paid and they shorted him. They also called him names for no reason including mother**cker. He showed me the texts. I was also called names and insulted. And at one point, when I had enough of getting calls and texts after midnight, I told them to quit calling me after business hours because my wife is going through chemotherapy for stage 4 sarcoma and needs her sleep, as do I. I was told the next day at 0530 that "don't I know that everyone has to go through cancer, and that it's not their problem because they don't know what goes on with my family". Had that idiot would've been in front of me he would've left the house on a gurney. End result is they doubled their price, gave me the runaround, called me names, insulted me and my wife, insulted the driver, and ripped him off. I will NEVER do business with the A holes again, and have already contacted my bank to cancel the withdrawals and will be contacting legal authorities tomorrow. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
