Paid In Advanced Never Showed Up Can't Get $ Back

On the day of our mover to FL the jerks at Premier Auto Shippers never showed up. I called the day before to confirm the pick up and delivery of our car. No one called me back after 7 messages with "Carl" and spoke with the owned of the company who "assured me that someone would call me back by 6:00pm to confirm my pick up time of the vehicle". No one called. I made full payment of $500.99 on our credit card on May 6, 2014 at 1:31 pm for a car to be shipped on June 12th 2014 and dropped off in Jupiter FL on June 15th 2014.

As our movers have the moving van loaded with over 1/2 of our household items I realize that NO ONE is coming to pick up this car! I had to call another shipper 2 hours before I leave our home and drive the 1700 mile trip to beat the moving van at the $$$$1200.00 for a last minute pick up of the car. I made 10 calls the Premier Auto Shippers that day and promise after promise of even a return phone call was not kept. Even the movers of Allied Moving & Storage couldn't believe how I was getting jacked around and their in the business! I spoke to the owner who was beyond insulting and said " Carl is the best salesman they have". Perfect. The owner made no attempt to help me, refund my money which I am still trying to get back as of today 7/18/14. The owner in fact told me "I can see you called another shipper on the boards, (had the balls to laughed about it in the phone) sited how long they had been in business , claimed I was rude, BLAMED ME ( bait and switched tactic) and left me to figure it out for myself with a 23 hour drive I now had to start at 16:00 instead of 11:00. Nice! The only recourse I have.... Is this review!

Good luck folks... Lessons I learned.
1. Never pay in advance. 2. The lowest bid dose not get a car pickup. 3. Let the moving company ship u r car!
