my car wasn't picked up on the day of scheduled which was garunteed. I paid a deposit of $175. i had to call every half hour to an hour to get updates and status of my driver. I was told by barry that i would get my deposit back with no problems what so ever if i decided to cancel. Mike offered to put the broker fee which is the deposit that i paid of $175 towards the balance of $1125 so that my car can be #1 to get picked up and that i didn't have to pay an extra penny for it. turns out, the driver called me and said that he was expecting $1,125 at the time of drop off. which i did not agree on . so i cancelled and CHRIS the guy at dispatch told me i couldn't get my deposit back. he was very rude to me and my mother-n-law and actually hung up on me and her while we were trying to solve this issue. i was not willing to pay $1125 at the time of drop off. it even states on my printed shipping invoice reciept that all i had to pay was $950. so i called them after he hung up on us and cancelled my order. i recommend going to MAGIC CARPET AUTO TRANSPORT. HERE IS A TIP, IF YOU HAVE TO PAY AN UPFRONT DEPOSIT OF ANY AMOUNT I SUGGEST YOU DO MORE RESEARCH ON THAT COMPANY THAN YOU ALREADY HAVE OR CHOSE A DIFFERENT ONE. thanks to P.A.T i lost $175 but a expensive lesson learned. i'm in the process of getting my deposit back since i was told i could. overall experience was HORRIBLE ! DEFF. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !
