Not sure if I can submit a review twice, but I worked with Nanci Crisp two times to move my car. The first time was early this year to move my car cross-country from Portland, OR to Boston, MA. It was the first time I used an auto-transport service and was very nervous about having my car transported cross-country during the dead of winter. Nanci patiently answered all my newbie questions and kept re-assuring me while my car was in transit that everything was fine. It took about 5 days to get the car cross country, door-to-door, and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional, and my car arrived just as it had been picked up.
Fast forward 6 months and my father is retiring and wants to move from San Diego, California to Portland, Oregon. We decided to transport his car, and my father was going through the same anxiety about having his car transported that I went through 6 months earlier. Maybe this sort of thing runs in the family :) I contacted Nanci again, and even though she was on vacation , she promptly returned my emails and worked to get a truck assigned for my father's car. The main difference between this transport and the first transport 6 months earlier was that this time, I didn't give Nanci much time to find me a truck (about a day) and I had a very specific pick-up date. Even though Nanci was on vacation, she worked with us to get the car on a truck on the day we needed. The carrier arrived on time to pick up the car, and delivered the car at the promised time. My father is extremely happy. If he's happy, I'm happy. Given that I had already gone through this 6 months earlier with my own car, it was my turn to re-assure my father while his car was being transported. Given my experience with my first car, I knew my father had nothing to worry about.
In summary, I highly recommend Nanci and Phoenix Auto Transport. Their quotes are competitive and I believe are standard for the industry. But what I feel sets them apart is their strong attention to customer service.
