Of all the people who contacted me, Gilbert at Philam Transport was the most direct, clear, helpful, and informative. The price was in the middle of the quotes I got, but it was his handling of my inquiry that got them the job, and I am happy to report, his professionalism continued for the entire process. If we needed to transport a vehicle, his company would be the first one contacted. The only minor snag was the driver's inability to get his truck to any of the spots we suggested he go to - our own street is medium width, with a lot of trees, so we expected to have to find a better location. We gave him three options, but he chose to drive to another considerably farther away, with the remark that if we couldn't come get it, we would have to arrange for towing. Fortunately, we were able to drive and meet him, but you should be prepared for this kind of issue before the day of delivery or risk getting stuck for a tow charge.
