The broker was excellent and responsive to my calls and questions. He went out of his way to assure that the price he quoted was the price that I paid. He kept after the carrier who accepted the contract to deliver the car and it finally did arrive and it was in good condition though covered in road dirt when it did.

The carrier that accepted the transport contract was another story. The car was not picked up on the promised date and the carrier contacted neither the broker nor me to explain why not. Initiating calls to the carrier finally turned up the fact that their truck had broken down and was in for repairs. Almost a week after the promised pick up the car was finally picked up and delivered to the destination after a period of four days. I received a phone call from the carrier four hours before they were scheduled to arrive and fortunately I was able to get off work to pick up the car. Some of the carriers problems were understandable since this was in the middle of the winter snow storms in Baltimore and DC but their lack of communication with me about their problems was very poor customer relations.
