My family was spending the summer in Florida and I needed my van shipped down there. Timing was important because I really wanted the van to arrive on the same day that my family was to arrive. As such, I began looking for quotes 3-4 weeks in advance. Michael Anthony’s email quoted me a price far below any other quote which should have tipped me off that something was not as it seemed but at the time I didn’t understand how the industry worked. I called Michael Anthony and told him I would go with him and his company and again stressed timing was important to me. He assured me everything would be taken care of and I stopped looking at other carriers. A week before my car was supposed to be picked up I emailed Michael Anthony that I never received any real confirmation from him except through our phone call and I wanted to confirm we were still on. He assured me that he was working on my order and as soon as he had everything lined up he would give me a call. At the time, I didn’t understand that he didn’t even have a confirmed carrier yet. Then, a day before my van was supposed to be picked up and without any confirmation from him I was getting nervous. I both called and emailed him realizing that something was definitely wrong. He emailed me back a while later informing me that there’s nothing he can tell me until he confirms a driver and he cannot guarantee pick-up times or dates and I can go with another company but they will only tell me the same thing. It was then that I realized there was never a confirmed carrier scheduled to pick up my van and Michael Anthony strung me along for weeks when I stressed timing was of the utmost importance to me. No carrier wanted to pick up my vehicle because his price was just too low. If he would have told me this in advance, I would have agreed to make the price higher. At least, I would have had the opportunity to go with other brokers and carriers. Instead, a day before I wanted my van picked up, he informs me that nothing is confirmed. I responded that I would still go with him and his company but would need a ballpark date when we can confirm a driver and have the car delivered. I received no response at all. I then frantically started calling other brokers who all told me there was no way I would get my car picked up the next day because I’m just calling too late. I finally booked through another broker, paid a much higher price because I needed the van picked up ASAP, and still it wouldn't get there exactly when I needed it, but rather a day or two late. I’m not upset that Michael Anthony couldn't deliver for his quoted price. What really irritates me is that when he knew it couldn't be shipped down for that price, he still strung me along hoping to get a carrier at that lowball offer with zero concern of the fact that I stressed multiple times that I need it down there at a certain date. In other words, he didn't give two craps about me and effectively screwed me over big time.

Steve none of my reviews are fake. Transport Reviews screens every review to insure accuracy. You never formally placed an order and we cancelled your quote. Once you called us when it was time to ship your vehicle after you had posted with other brokers. We told you we couldnt honor that quote anymore because it was too late.You didnt understand that just because we had quoted you and sent you an email that didn't mean that you had placed an order with us. In addition once you post with more than one broker we don't work on your order. We tried to work with you in getting you a driver and you didnt want to hear it you just wanted to pay one price and do it the exact way you wanted to.
