I purchased a car in mid December from Kerbeck Chevrolet and one of the Passport Transport was one of the companies that they recommended. We contracted with them to pick up the car and have it delivered but was told that because of the holidays they wouldn't be able to pick it up until sometime between January 3rd and the 10th with a projected delivery by January 20th. That time frame was fine with us because we were out of town and wouldn't be back until January 2nd. When we hadn't heard anything by the 9th we called our representative at passport and he told us that they were running a week behind and we might want to check with one of their competitors (great customer service). He said that he would have to talk to the dispatcher and get back to us the following Monday when the car could be picked up. Monday we called and the representative said that they basically didn't have a truck in the area and didn't know when it could be picked up. Don't believe the date they tell you and they really don't care about your business - if you really want you vehicle delivered find another company.

After being told that they didn't know when passport could pick up the car my wife asked to speak to the owner of the company about the time I posted the initial review. Shortly thereafter my wife got a call from Neil - the owner of company. He was very apologetic for the delay in picking up our car and assured here that it would be picked up by the end of the week (Jan. 19th). He also said that the Barrett-Jackson auction had a lot of his transporter delivering cars to the west coast. Our car was picked up on the 19th and delivered to us on the 24th. The driver (Dave Erickerson and co driver Rick) also apologized for the delay and were super nice and very friendly and our car was delivered in pristine condition. If passport had only told us about how the Barrett-Jackson auction might effect the delivery we could have made arrangement to get it sooner and after waiting two weeks for pick up to be told that "they didn't have a truck in the area and didn't know when it could be picked up" was totally unacceptable. The measure of a company is delivering on a promise made to the customer or at least keeping them informed of the problems and what the company was doing to fix the problem. It should not have taken the involvement of the owner to get this problem resolved
