I was lured by another auto transport company that promised me a pick-up within my tight time frame. They didn't meet that promise; fortunately, Open Road Auto Transport was there to save the day. And I mean this truly: Gabe and Bruce found a driver to pick up my car and deliver it quickly.
My delivery- from Pittsburgh, PA to Los Angeles- was not an easy one, but Open Road managed to find a driver as well as a towing company to deliver my car to the shipper. I needed this additional service because the delivery truck couldn't enter Pittsburgh (with its many bridges and weight restrictions), and I was out of the country and didn't have anyone who could move my car for me. Open Road didn't *have* to do all of this extra legwork, but they did it efficiently and without complaint.
Even if you find a slightly cheaper transporter- and all companies, as far as I can tell, charge about the same price- don't go for the lowest cost. (By the way, I would have saved money on my delivery if I had gone with Open Road from the start- I won't make that mistake again!). For this type of service, reliability and honest communication are key. And Open Road provides precisely that: reliability, fairness, and straightforward communication. I was stressed out about the whole ordeal, but they made it right. Thanks Open Road!
