Worst Company/Business I ever dealt with. Read the negative review

I called Official Auto Transport on Jan 2, because they were the cheapest rate. That was a bad mistake. I had read some negative reviews on this company but I figured I would take a chance. I received a quote from Bill for $475 with $100 deposit for the transportation of my vehicle from MD to TN. He told me that he could have a truck coming to pick my vehicle on 1/4 from 11a-3p and it will take 2-3 days. So I confirmed that on 1/3 and took off from work so I can be there for the pickup. On Friday Jan. 4th, no driver nor a phone call. I called and left four messages didn’t receive a return call. I called on Saturday and left three messages and two emails. No Response. Then I spoke to Julian on Sunday and he assured me that a driver will be there on Monday 1/7 to pick up my car from 11am 3pm. I took off again on Monday 1/7 and no driver or a phone call and not a mention of my messages and/or emails. On Tuesday I get a phone call from Bill telling me that he can get a driver to pick up my car on 1/9 but it will be $100 more than what was quoted. Ok even after being disappointed twice I agreed because I wanted to give these idiots a chance run a business. Bill assured me again that a driver will be there to pick up my car from 11am-3pm on Thursday 1/9. I told him that “if a driver doesn’t come then I’m canceling my order”. On Thursday 1/9 I took off work again and “no driver no phone call”. I then called and cancelled my order and I was told that I can only get half because the order was still in progress. Bill also gave me the driver’s cell phone number and he told me if I wanted he could have a driver there on 1/10 to pick up my car. So I decided to call the driver myself and the driver informed me that he was never scheduled to pick up my car and he didn’t even receive the paperwork on it. Also he was VA at the time and had to go to NJ the next and won’t be back until next week. So again I wasn’t told the truth. On 1/10 I called again and emailed the company to cancel and get back half my deposit. On 1/11 I got a call from a driver he told me he was on his way to my house and he needed directions. Apparently it was never communicated to the driver that my order was cancelled. He hung up the phone after I told him already had another company. Lastly I had someone from Official Auto Transport call me on 1/15 telling me that they had a truck scheduled to pick up my car and could be there from 11am-3pm. I had a few choice words with them and hung up the phone. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. I’m still in the process of getting my deposit back it has not been credited to my account. I shouldnt expect anything different.

We spoke with Welden and Miss Baltimore extensively throughout this move. We worked very hard on this order and in the end our driver didn't do what he was supposed to do. We apologize for the way this move went. This never happens and honestly was the first of its occurrence. Mr. Howard has received back his deposit and that driver was fired. We were in the process of sending out another driver to pick up the car and Welden but he said no thanks and canceled the order. We fully understood his frustration and did our best to make sure he was accommodated as quickly as possible. We have since then taken measures to make sure this does not happen again and I am proud to say that it has not and will not.
