I was really wary about finding a shipping company to ship our two cars on our move from California to Texas. So many of the reviews and people that I talked to told me about horror stories and scams. We actually started working with a different company, but they were not able to nail down a narrow enough pickup window, and their contract was sketchy at best.

But I got a call from Max Parker at Number 1 Auto Transport, and he was very direct, honest, and up front about all of the time frames and costs. Everything worked out exactly as he said, and he called me (I didn't have to call him!!) more than once during the move time to make sure that everything was going smoothly.

The driver (Dan) was very communicative as well, calling me before the pickup date, and then maintaining contact with his whereabouts. We knew what day and time our cars would be delivered more than 2 days beforehand, and our cars arrived in good time and undamaged, earlier than we even expected.

No scam here - this was the real deal. They were a touch more pricey than other companies, but it was worth it to know that our cars were taken care of. I am an actual customer, and I am not getting compensated for this review. I am just trying to make this agonizing search a little easier for someone else in the future!
