Shortly after posting my requirements on the web (general dispatch I received a calls from 7 companies with prices ( $450, $475, $495, $500, $510, $525, $550, $595 and $650 for open transfer of my 2002 Subaru Outback from the Atlanta area to the Boston area. As expected, the higher- priced bidders claimed that the low- priced companies simply could not do a good job, [that they were unreliable, your car will be damaged, you'll have to wait a week for pick-up, you'll have to wait a week for delivery, they'll drive your car to a transfer point and it will sit there , etc.] I had previously shipped 2 other cars and knew such comments were simply aimed at scaring people into paying more for nothing - the typical used car and insurance salesmen approach. I believe that sincere , honest people can do a good job at a reasonable price. After talking in depth with the above company agents, i was particularly struck by the honesty and sincerity of Racheal at the NEW WAY Transport Co. who pointed out that they are a Family Based business that has been in business for over 4 years and that they were able to ship anywhere in the U.S. further, my credit card would not be charged until the Subaru was on the delivery van and i was comfortable with the service at that point.
The pick-up driver (Mr. Frank Araujo of BRAZ US EXPRESS ) was on time, was very courteous , very knowledgeable and very anxious to please me as a customer. I felt very secure in his overall business approach and his projection of delivery time.
I was contacted by NEW WAYon a Friday, my pick-up was scheduled for Monday morning. It was picked up at 9:00AM o Monday as promised. The carrier estimated that my subaru wouldd be delivered on Wednesday and it WAS delivered at
9:00 AM o Wednesday - as promised. there were no new dents, dings, or other problems (as had been suggested by the higher priced bidders)
In conclusion let me simply state that "Working with NEW WAY TRANSPORT , with their staff and with their BRAZ Carrier
(Mr. Frank Araujo ) was a real pleasure and an excellent experience." NEW WAY obviously is a family that cares about being honest and reliable. They value their family reputation and are working hard to keep it very respectable . I would do business with them anytime in the future . My experience has been that Good Service does not have to be excessively expensive. Rather, it has to be provided by people who care about their reputation and care about their customers. This experience with NEW WAY simply proves my point .
