I contracted with NTS in July 2019 to ship a vehicle from California to Hawaii in November 2019. When we delivered the truck, we were told by the shipper (Matson) that the rates had increased over $450 since we made our reservation in July and that we had to pay the higher rate or take our vehicle away. We did not have flexibility on when to ship the truck and the NTS offices were closed for the week, so we had no option but to pay the higher rate, however the following business day the NTS supervisor and then the buyer, Ray Wilson, called me and Ray worked hard to get Matson to honor the original contract rate and refund the difference, which they did do. I am very grateful and would gladly use Nationwide transport Services again.
