The pickup was a bit unplanned as the seller received only a few hours notice instead of the 24 hours requested. However the pickup was within the dates specified. The loading went late, on into the early morning. The drivers were unprepared to load the 29 Hudson Sedan in its unrunning state and after over 3 hours the 2 drivers and seller finally got it loaded. There was no pully, winch or even ropes available to assist in the loading.
The delivery on the other hand was absolutely excellent! Well coordinated,Sedan transfered to a rollback from the transport truck then roll back into my garage. The driver was absolutely the best that could have been. He went out of his way to help me get the last couple of feet of the vehicle into the garage. He deserves a bonus! I'd like to send him a nice tip for his dedication to making sure the car was safely in my garage.
The car arrived safely, everything accounted for and as clean as could be expected for a car needing restoration. No damage. The money paid was well worth the investment. The seller would have been a lot happier had the loading been more properly staged however.
