After my last conversation with National Transport I would really love to indulge and report how lame these guys are but I honestly had only one unsavory conversation with them. During placing the order and locating a carrier, the girls I spoke with were friendly and helpful (we originally wanted an enclosed carrier). Once my Jeep had been picked up and was late for delivery, however, my friendly agent turned surly while stating that National Transport had fullfilled their end of the agreement (ie. locating a carrier) and they couldn't do anything about delivery issues. According to the contract you sign with them, this is entirely true. So, my advice, be very careful and know what you are getting into with Natioanl Transport.
My Jeep finally arrived in great condition and the carrier (Future Auto Transport) who brought it to us was clean and courteous, albeit a couple of days later than I planned (National Transport originally told me 7 days but, as the contract states, this isn't carved in stone). Would I use National Transport again, probably not based on the immature and unneccessary comments made by the last agent I spoke with (I truly wish I could remember her name--Heidi, maybe??). In a time of stress, the last thing a customer needs to hear is a snotty attitude. The fact that this specific complaint shows up in most of these reviews attests to the truth of it all. Best of luck to those in need of a carrier--I know your stress.
