Transported a brand new vehicle from the dealer in Palm Beach Florida to Long Island, NY.
I had successfully used Horseless Carriage previously for several "high end" enclosed transports, and wasn't looking to spend that type of money this time. When doing research there was such a variety of mixed reviews on all carriers. I think in many cases people's expectations may be somewhat unreasonable (and perhaps carriers are guilty of advertising a bit more than they can deliver)- Car shipping isn't the same service as UPS or FedEx that can deliver between virtually any two addresses in the country overnight. That being said, the Florida/NY route is a busy and competitive one- which works well for the purchaser. National Transport provided an "instant" on-line quote, which I liked, and I booked the job and paid the deposit on-line. I booked on a Tuesday, and indicated the car could be picked up that Thursday or thereafter. On Wednesday they called me, had a driver assigned, and said they planned to pick up the vehicle on Saturday and deliver it on the following Monday (just 48 hours transport time). Sure enough, on Sunday the driver called me, said he was in route, and would deliver Monday afternoon. By 12:30 Monday I had the car, in perfect condition. Extremely competitive price and excellent service- Would not hesitate to recommend them.
