I bid high on an ebay auction for a '69 Firebird resto-mod sold by Royal XXXXXX oil company because 100 percent of the proceeds were to go to a Children's Charity...and because the work was all done by the popular "PowerXXXXX TV" shows that we all watch way too much of.
Got a call from the shippers "Hey, the car doesn't run, we're going to need your help to unload it, and it didn't run when we picked it up..wanted you to know"

I appreciate this info VERY much, as it is what saved my a$$ when the car arrived and I promptly contacted them and demanded my money back...which I received, including shipping costs, simply because i'm aware of the little-known "out" on Ebay called "Not as described." They sold it as "sold as is, no returns" but they also said "ready to drive!'...woops, that's a lie, so I got all monies returned within 2 days.

That's above and beyond help for the consumer by this Auto Transport company, in my opinon. I love these guys.
