I started with a quote of 975 and a 200 deposit. I told them that the driver would have to come after 4 pm as the lady with my car was a full time student and worked full time also and was not able to get off before them. I called almost every day after that and reiterated this point and every time I said this I was told that this "Would Not Be A Problem". I told them this at least a half dozen times. I was also told that I would get a call 24 hours in advance of when the company came to get my truck. I was called at 10 pm one night to tell me that the driver would be there the next day and when I asked about the after 4 pm time frame I was told that it would not be a problem. I was then called at 10 am the next morning by a driver telling me that he would be there in an hour and where was the lady to meet him. Obviously, she wasn't there. When I told them that it needed to be after 4 pm I was told that they never actually said it would be ok and that was up to the driver. So, after I missed that pickup I called them back and told them we needed to find another plan. Could the driver pick up the car without the owner being present. They said that that was fine. National Auto Transport never called me to even tell me that the driver was on his way there I actually had to coordinate it all through the driver and he said he would be there Saturday night and finally showed up Sunday evening. My friend was there and she told me that the driver flooded the car trying to start it and then told her it was inoperable. Her husband then started the car and drove it around the block but then they had to leave. After they left the driver says that he could not start the car and left it as inoperable. I called NAT the next day (They thought the car HAD been pick up!!!) to discuss what I could do to make this car actually get shipped. They told me that if I upped my price to 1575 they would guarantee that they car would move inoperable or not within 72 hours. 48 hours later I finally got a hold of someone in sales who told me that the word guarantee just meant that they would put a priority on the car and not that it would actually move. They never return any calls to them. They were extremely rude to me telling me that the first time that I sounded like a nice lady on the phone and I should call the driver and see if I could sweet talk him into waiting for me. I finally called and they told me that they had a truck on the line and when I asked if I would get a call within an hour they asked me if I wanted to play hardball. I was so frustrated after the a month of waiting for my car to be picked up I told them that they were fired and he said thanks for the free deposit. This is after they charged me an extra 50 dollars that I am still disputing because it wasn't on the my signed contract. Also, when they send you a contract they only send you a half a contract. When I was reading my contract later I saw that it referred to a page two that did not exist. When I asked them were the rest of the contract was they told me that it was on the website. I went there with Lou on the phone and IT WAS A DEAD LINK. He said he would cut and paste it into an email for me and did so. It is a terrible contract. Do not sign this contract. They are ripping you off. I will never use this company and hope that no one ever does also.
