Let me start off by saying that I was skeptical of the auto shipping business as a whole given some of the horror stories I've read in these reviews.

National Auto Shippers were the lowest quoted shipping company, and the majority of their reviews on this site were extremely positive, despite the random 0 star review here and there.

I spoke to Manny on Friday, paid my deposit (some companies warned against anyone that requires an up front deposit but I threw caution to the wind) and my car was picked up on Monday (as was quoted to me by Manny). The communication between the driver and my contact on the day of pickup was excellent - they received multiple updates while the driver was delayed en route (though sometimes our calling the dispatch was less than fruitful as they weren't always able to get in contact with the driver).

The car was picked up, checked in and loaded on the truck in a professional manner and the driver was pleasant and helpful.

2 days after pickup, I called the main office to get an estimated delivery day (I wasn't in a rush, I just wanted to know when to plan for). Again, dispatch was unable to get in contact with the driver - to me, this wasn't a big deal as I wasn't under any deadline for shipping and wasn't in dire need of this information. Later in the day I got a call from the driver himself letting me know that he'd be in my area around 8pm. I was informed that he'd call again approximately 30 minutes before arriving at the destination so I could get home from work and meet up with him.

As promised, I received another call from him at 8:05pm stating that he was a half hour out. 30 minutes later I met up with him at a location near my house (my street is very difficult to drive a car hauler down) and he followed me the rest of the way home in my car.

My driver was on time, professional, helpful and knew what he was doing - my car traveled 1200 miles over the course of 2 days, which is honestly much quicker than I had expected given the nature of the service (multiple stops along the way) and arrived in the same condition in which it was picked up. Though the communication between the main office and the truck was lacking at times, the quoted service was properly delivered and I feel comfortable about recommending this company to anyone looking to ship a car at a reasonable price in the future.
