Car pick up scheduled from Miami to Dallas, quote $690. Agreed. Signed contract. 1 day later, company called. Increased to $725 because driver had to come 2 days earlier. Don't know why I have to pay $35 because they needed me to move up date, but whatever. Day of pick-up, company called. Said Carrier transport broke down. New carrier is asking for $950. Such a scam. Thank goodness I was able to get a refund (within 5 business days of first available date) and had other options. If I didn't...I would have been cornered.
