This is my second posting so I am aware that my previous will be deleted. But, after my last posting I ended up using them after all since I was in desperate need of getting my vehicle to Houston.

I was told originally that my car would be shipped for $599 and that I would be contacted within 48 hours to arrange pickup. I was told in an email that this was a final quote not subject to any additional fees or charges. I was not contacted for over a week and when I was finally contacted it was to ask me for more money upwards of $150-$200. After this happened several times I indicated that I did not want to be contacted unless they were willing to honor their quote. Another three days went by and I found myself in a bind and ended up paying the extra money.

In an attempt to calm my anger they offered to refund me $75.00. It has been close 10 days and that "refund" has never shown up in my account.

In addition, their customer service is terrible. I talked with 5 or 6 different people and only Ryan was reasonable - although most of what he assured me never actually happened (refund, pickup, "I'll get back to you").

After looking into it, the Southeastern Better Business Bureau of Florida reports that there has been 33 complaints made against Move On Time Inc, and that Move On Time has failed to respond to 25 of these complaints. As such, the Southeastern BBB gives this company a "F" grade - basically the worst possible rating available in their system. You can make my complaint #34.

I have already filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Office and intend to file a complaint with the BBB as soon as I finish this posting. If I had more time on my hands I would file a lawsuit under Florida's Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act as I feel that their conduct is that reprehensible.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I spoke with Garner a few days ago and he told me that the company owed him $75. The reality of the situation is that Utah is a more difficult route and as such takes more time. When this was originally explained he cancelled his business with us. After looking for a new company, all of which could not pick him up and all wanting much more money, he asked us once again for help. We got him a carrier for $100 more, he paid $25 and the company sent the carrier a check for $75. We do not owe Garner any money.
