Buyer beware was stressed by everyone: Never put down a deposit, make sure they can provide an insurance certificate, watch out for switch & bait etc… Laura Curto, my point of contact, from Motor Movers was able to give me all the information (Trucking company DOT & insurance certificate) I needed to feel that my vehicle was in secure hands. There are essentially two ways to move your vehicle: 1. Broker - puts your bid out to truckers on a central dispatch 2. Owner operated - price guarantee more likely. The majority of companies through TransportReviews.com seem to be with the former. The only negatives were 1. the original bid was for $650, and the final price was $700; however, you are under no obligation to accept the increased price. 2. my car was placed first, on the top of the truck, and so was covered in dirt when it arrived. Try to have the car placed in the middle. Overall, I was very happy with the service provided by MotorMovers and would use them again. Thanks Laura!
