Move of vintage Willys truck ebay purchase

Although I had purchased a couple of vehicles through ebay auctions I never had the need of a transporter.I now found myself the very new owner of a $12.000 truck that was domiciled in Texas ,a long way from wintry Connecticut!
The seller, an apparent vintage auto broker, suggested I call Mary Winfield (Motor Movers)as he had " 2 or 3 moves performed through Mary's and Motor Mover's auspices and all were successful".
Knowing little but that these moves can be expensive and unnerving I took the seller's advice, called Mary and was greeted warmly and knowingly.
Mary led me through the process , quoted a very fair price of $875 and even warned that ,because of an unsteady fuel market prices could change slightly.
That price did rise , but only 5% or so and I was happy to let motor movers have the job .
It turned out to be a good choice .
The seller alerted me when the vehicle was loaded,noting that the driver had done very thorough inspection of it's condition beforehand .
Info that was related to me by the movers allowed me to speak with the driver a few days later and I felt I knew him when the vehicle did finally arrive,on time, at our pre-arranged location. I would absolutely use Motor Mover's service again and , as a matter of fact , have recommended them to my sister who is contemplating moving her auto coast to coast next month .Thanks, Glenn Winn
