Transported a vehicle from Miami to Seattle. Easy initial booking and providing info, they will work with you on scheduling when you need to have your vehicle at your destination, provide details of the process etc. Be advised that they will give you a 3-5 day window of a pickup date from when your vehicle is first available(you pick that date). You wont receive notice on who or which company is picking up your vehicle until a day or so before pickup in that 3-5 day window. When it is assigned to a driver, he will reach out to you to schedule an actual pickup date & location in your neighborhood. Please remember if they are driving a large car carrier semi truck, they will have to find a location near you where they can park so you can drive to that location. My driver picked a location about 1.5 miles away from my place. So I had to drive there to meet him, he'll load it up on the car carrier, then he is off. You can discuss the particulars with him then on delivery. I ended up walking home after dropping off my car and meeting him. It took the driver 12 days to deliver my car. He gave me updates when he was in my region, had to change the delivery date 3 times due to some circumstances at his yard where he parks his truck. Again, he will pick up a location where he can drop off your vehicle so he can get in & out of easily with the car carrier. He picked a location about 3 miles away. I had to Uber there to meet him, he unloaded my vehicle off the carrier and we did an walk around inspection together and I provided COD for remaining balance owed. Signed off the delivery and the transaction was done. The driver was overall a nice guy and apologized for the longer delay with drop off etc. Not much updates or comms during those 12 days of transit, you can text the driver if you want to get a status. I did during the few days before it was actually delivered. You do get a Montway link to check on your vehicle status, but it doesn't help much. Wish it had a tracking feature like when you ship a package to show where your vehicle is at or at least which city/state it is in so you can anticipate delivery. The pricing was about what I thought it would be and Montway provided a better quote from some others I researched. This is my 2nd time using them, so I rounded up to a 4 star. Definitely do some research, get competitive quotes, ask questions on what you can load into your car as it is being transported etc. Good luck!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We are happy to hear the move went well and the driver was able to work out the location and timing with you. Tracking is a big thing for Montway! We are constantly working to improve our tracking services so we can be like those big package shippers and provide up to the minute locations on vehicles. Unfortunately the transport industry just isn't quite there yet in a few areas! We hope to be of service again in the future - and maybe with better tracking by then!
