Absolutely horrible experience. Montway is a broker for transport companies. They can't actually tell you when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered, or even which carrier they will be using. I had a work order to transport a vehicle plus four wheels (rim mounted tires not installed on the vehicle). They quoted $200 if they could be shipped in the car (impossible for the car being shipped) or $500 if shipped outside the vehicle. I agreed to that exorbitant $500. On the day the car was to be picked up, I was told that the carrier assigned could not take the wheels unless they could go in the car. They offered no solution other than trying to find another carrier, which would delay pickup and delivery until some unknown date, creating a huge problem for the seller and for me. I had no choice but to have them pick up the car without the wheels. I asked that they find another method to get the wheels to me. Told them that I was in no hurry and they must be able to have some company that they contract regularly throw them on a truck and drop them off without much difficulty. They refunded my $500 and agreed to try. Of course, they never called me back. After the car was delivered, I called to ask if they had found a way to get my wheels to me. They refused to even consider it. If you have had a good experience with Montway, you just got lucky with the carrier that they assigned. If you are looking to ship a vehicle, I wouldn't take the chance with these guys.
