Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. This gives some really good insight into potential outside perspectives to our industry. We'll definitely use this to evaluate how we communicate some of our information.
I will say that I respectfully disagree with some of the comments made here. We are pretty transparent about how we calculate costs and our estimated shipment timelines. You can find this information on our website at (https://www.montway.com/how-much-does-it-cost-ship-car). The number of miles is only one of many factors used to calculate the cost. Of course, I can't say otherwise for our competitors. But, since there are so many factors, this is why we provide a quote, which is our estimated cost to ship based on these factors.
As we are a broker, we're going to look at every possible option to get your vehicle moved. This means reaching out to carriers that don't commonly operate your route or are more involved in specialty moves. Sure, we could just throw your order up on a board and leave it to sit for weeks as most companies do. But we would prefer to be more proactive and present all possible options.
