Hello Rich, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention as it's important that we work with the most professional carriers in the industry. We apologize for the inconvenience that has occurred.
At the time of booking, we were provided with the vehicle information by you. This exact information is provided to the carrier as part of the dispatch process. This document outlines all specifics of the vehicle. And our team discusses the specifics of the vehicles to ensure they are able to safely transport said vehicles. So at no time was the carrier not aware of the vehicle they would be transporting. This has been escalated to our compliance team and we can confirm this carrier is no longer part of our network.
As for the shipment confirmation. When booking an order with Montway and selecting the first available shipment date, the customer is confirming with Montway that the vehicle will be ready for pick-up on that date and after. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the vehicle is ready for pick-up and to provide that information to Montway.
