Hello Alice, we understand you had an issue with the delay in transporting your vehicle. We also understand that you're vehicle arrived with a missing license plate. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our dates are estimated and they are not guaranteed. It is not part of the inspection process to document whether or not your vehicle has a license plate. Your license plate may become loose during transit if it's not properly secured and unfortunately, loose items are not covered under a claim. Your order was booked with us on 9/26/2018 and upon booking your order your received an email confirming the details of your order and the next steps that would occur. It also detailed that our dates are estimated as the carrier is subject to delays outside of our control. We expect your vehicle to be picked up within 1-5 business days from your first available pickup date which was 9/27/2018. Your vehicle was picked up on 9/29/2018 with an estimated delivery date of 10/1/2018 and 10/2/2018. Please keep in mind that the transit time for this route is 4-6 days. On 10/3/2018 we were informed by the carrier that he had suffered a mechanical breakdown. Our team left you a voicemail message letting you know of the breakdown and that the carrier was working on getting another hauler to pick up your vehicle from the breakdown location. We apologize for the confusion caused. The carrier was able to continue the transport and your vehicle was delivered on 10/8/2018. We reached out to the carrier and they stated that they were not in possession of your license plates. Our team informed you that loose items including the license plates were not covered in a claim. This information is listed in our terms and conditions that are displayed on our website www.montway.com.
