After reading reviews, I decided I was going to be flexible and patient throughout the process. It helped with my first ever car transport adventure. I requested a quote from Montway online 8/19, my VW Beetle was delivered 8/30. Not too bad. The price I was given is the price I paid.
A&A Auto transport assigned Rafael to pick it up. He was polite and professional. He called at 5:30 pm 8/23 to ask if it was alright to pick up my beetle around midnight. This seemed a bit sketchy, however I'm up anway so I agreed (flexible, remember?). Rafael called again at 12:30 an hour prior to pick up which was at 1:30am, the loading process took 30 minutes. Rafael made me feel at ease right away and took his time inspecting my beetle with a headlamp on his head. He was careful loading and not banging the door getting out once loaded onto the truck. I had to ask to scan the bill of lading I signed as it wasn't a carbon copy or three part form. Luckily, my house was 200' away so it wasn't a problem.
The car was delivered to my Mom about 8 pm on the following Friday 8/29 by Rafael who was still polite and professional, even driving the beetle in to the driveway for her. He collected the balance due ($410 cash) only after everything was completed.
I received emails from Montway confirming transport company assignment with contact numbers, vehicle pick-up and vehicle delivery. I'd do it again and use Montway for transport. My flexibility with scheduling and patience relating to time frame made this a great experience. If I had a deadline to keep, I'd be stressed. Both Montway and A & A Auto transport did as agreed and my car made it to CT in good time in the same condition it left FL for less than the cost of gas/food/hotel and a plane ticket back. Thanks.
