Montway was recommended by a friend who had used the service on several occasions and seemed very satisfied. After viewing horror stories on other transport companies on the web, I decided to go with Montway, even though it was priced higher than competing companies. I met my driver, Ara, in the parking lot of a nearby supermarket in the pouring rain, so we had little time for niceties or an inspection of the car. Ara seemed nice enough over the phone, although I suspect English is not his first language. However, we made arrangements with no problems. Ara quickly loaded the car in the open container truck while I waved goodbye. He initially said it would take a week to deliver the car from Florida to California. At the end of the week, I, as well as the recipient attempted to call him. No answer. We just assumed he drove at night and slept in the daytime. No big deal. Ara called the recipient two days later to say he would meet them in an hour. Again no problem even though I had asked him to let the recipient know when to expect the car, within a 4 hour timeframe. Fortunately, she could make the appointment. Again, not that big of a deal. I have heard nothing negative from the owner, so I will assumed that all had gone well. I would use Montway again and would recommend them to friends. Although Montway is offering an incentive to write this, I would have written the same if I had not been offered anything. The offering is very insignificant anyway.
