We are truly sorry that the customer feels this way. We provide outstanding five star service and always do our best to ship a vehicle as quickly as possible. Some routes are more difficult than others.
In the case in matter, the vehicle for transport was a classic 1971 Chevy Camaro to be transported in an Enclosed trailer from Fredericksburg, VA 22405 to Woodland Park, CO 80863. Looking at the map you might envision that this route is uncommon and does not have many carriers servicing it at all times, especially factoring in that enclosed trailers are only about 2% of all trailers in the US, which is why scheduling could take a day or two more than estimated.
The vehicle was made available to us for pickup starting on Friday 3/14/14. Our usual pickup window is estimated between 1 to 5 business days, in this case between 3/14 and 3/20. As mentioned already, since the route has very few carriers servicing it scheduling could take a day or two more. The customer requested cancellation on the following Friday 3/21, even though we had the order as first priority for pickup with expedited service.
The booked rate was $1614 doing the necessary research you might find out that it is the best rate a carrier can get on this route for an enclosed trailer. It is only a matter of time and scheduling to assign and dispatch a carrier that would be passing this route.
We did not bid out any rates and our fees are significantly lower than any other company in this industry. We do this because our customers are our top priority and we do our best to accommodate all their requests, work with them on schedules and discounts.
We are the best in the industry and we work with the best professionals who know every little detail about providing the fastest and safest auto transport. We go out of our way to help our customers and to assist them with any issues. Customer satisfaction is more important to us than profit! We pride ourselves in best customer care.
We don't leave matters unresolved or ignored. This customer was offered sincerest apology for any inconvenience and additional compensation was extended, which he turned down.
Our offer is always open, and the customer is encouraged to contact us if he changes his mind.
