Would use Montway again! (But beware of some of their transport contractors)

I have used Montway 3 times in the past. This review highlights the most recent (2007 Hyundai Accent from NJ to CA). Pickup was on time and delivery was within the promised 7-10 days. In fact, it was just about 8 days.

My only gripe is that Montway appears to contract out their transport to different companies. PK was the one used this time, and the driver didn't speak English very well. However, it did not change the excellent experience I had. Everything was documented and done safely/correctly. They called the day before delivery and everything worked out great.

I must mention that my 2nd experience with Montway was TERRIBLE. However, I do not blame Montway. They used Ambela Transport Inc. My BMW M3 had quite a bit of damage. Ambela's own paperwork showed ZERO damage on the car, but upon arrival, the vehicle had many dimples in the body. After several weeks of being unresponsive, I have filed a BBB claim with Ambela and went through my own insurance (who will be chasing them down). Damage on my car was ~$2K. Luckily I'm only responsible for a $300 comprehensive deductible.

If you use Montway, ask what auto carrier they will use. DO NOT USE AMBELA! I believe they mostly cater to East Coast to West Coast transport.
