I selected Momentum to move my 2000 Porsche Carerra from NY to Jackson Hole, WY after consulting reviews of numerous companies. Before placing my order I had an extensive conversation with their agent regarding the problems I had encountered with a previous auto shipment for the same routing. He assured me that the price and availability they quoted was solid and that they would deliver as promised. Once the car was ready for pickup I made several calls to the company requesting an update on their pickup schedule. The wait time to get an agent on the line was aklways very long and they were very poor at returning my phone calls. After the car had been sitting for 6 days awaiting pickup the agent informed me taht he would have to raise the quoted price for an open carrier from $1125 to $1295 to get a driver interested and also indicated that most drivers did not want to pick up my card due to ground clearance concerns. He then suggested a enclosed carrier at $1795. Ultimately I had to go with this more expensive option to get the car moved.

This situation was particularly frustrating and annoying since I had discussed the difficulties of delivering to my location with the agent before placing the order and had received full assurance that I would not have those issues when working with Momentum. This, combined with the fact that their communications after order placement were very poor, lead me to strongly recommend that other potential customers think twice before using this company to ship their auto.

Robert had done this transport before and knew the logistics, he chose to try the cheaper option,open transport on a Porsche, the agent worked very hard to accommodate Robert's request regarding pricing and timing. We were unable to meet his timing with the open carrier and offered him enclosed shipping. The car was loaded soon after and delivered on time. We apologized for the problems. That agent, is also no longer with Momentum Transport.
