Ok to be honest, I was very skeptical about using an auto transport company to transport my 2000 Acura TL to my son in GA but I knew I couldn't drive from WA to GA. I read so many awful reviews and horror stories about personal auto transporting. My fears are now gone. I initially searched around and obtained several quotes, some lower and some higher from different brokers. I went with the one in-between, which was the broker (United Freight of America Corp) for $1050. I didn't realize they would be the "middle man" but it turned out great.

The customer service with United Freight of America was GREAT. They were always very helpful and responsive. I read that you should never put a deposit down before your vehicle has been dispatched to a driver but I went against that and paid the $200 deposit to United. Once my deposit was made, an hour later I received an email from the broker with all the contact info for the transport company (Mobile) which stated they would contact me to schedule pick up time. Due to the 4th of July holiday, I received a call that Tuesday after the holiday to schedule pick up. Wednesday morning (8:30am), Mobile was at my door. The guy was very nice and through to mark down and note all damage (i.e. - scratches, etc) and overall condition of my Acura. He loaded it up on the truck and there it went.

The Mobile rep stated that it would take 6-11 days to reach my son in GA. After about 5 days, i tried to contact Mobile and no answer, voicemail was full. At that point, I was like "Oh Geez, here we go". After trying to reach Mobile for 2 days, I finally decided to call the broker, United Freight of America Corp. They understood my concern and said they would try to give them a call and that it is hard to reach Mobile. Of course, they get through. The United rep called me back promptly and stated that my vehicle was in route and was in Montana and should arrive in GA in 2-3 days. 2 days later, my son received a call from the driver and said he would be there the next morning between 8-11am. He showed up at 9am 9 (on time).

My son said the car was clean and arrived with all the parts. :) What a relief!

Overall my experience was smooth and I would use Mobile again in the future.
