People normally transport their vehicles for long distance through a broker, who identifies a transportation company / driver from a list of signed-up drivers to finish the task. The driver receives their payment through COD (cash on delivery) and the broker receives their brokerage payment that is normally 10% - 20%.

My concerns in shipping my car from coast to coast are the following:

* My car should be handled by a good transportation company / driver. Hence I prefer a broker with many positive reviews in Yelp and other sites, because the broker many have a pool or good drivers.

* My communication with the broker and the driver should be good. In my case, Midsommar (Tammar) and the transportation company (dispatcher + driver) can always answer my calls/emails either immediately or within half an hour, which makes me very happy.

* I would like my car to be picked up from the origin and delivered at the destination ASAP. In my case, Midsommar can identify a driver to pickup my car within 2 days from the time I make my order, and seems to be very connected with the drivers.

In my specific case, the driver delivered the car to the apartment of my friend on the other coast one day before my arrival, the driver received the payment through Midsommar, and the communication has always been very good.

In summary, I think Tammar is the best in handling cross-state vehicle transportation.
