I inherited a 1994 Toyota Truck that belonged to my sister's husband. He unfortunately past away of cancer, and the truck just sat for the past five years, unused. The truck had a lot of sentimental value, and my sister did not want to sell it, as she wanted to keep it in the family. She had initially given the truck to my brother, but he is too tall, and could not drive it. She offered it to me, and without any hesitation I accepted it. The only little challenge was that it was in the San Joaquin Valley, California, and I am located in Orlando Florida, almost 3,000 miles away.
I knew that I had to bring the truck home, before it deteriorated or eventually was sold. I quickly went online and submitted quote requests for the transport of my Toyota. To my surprise, I obtain many, many quotes. I arrange for the pick up with two initial companies, but that was a real disappointment as one cancel the pick up, and another increased the final price. A week or so later, I decided to try again, and I received a quote from Mercury, and specifically worked with Dean Hawley. Because of my previous disappointments, I did not have high expectations, but Dean reached out to me, and I explained to him the previous two disasters. Dean gave me his word that he would do everything in his power to start the process, by reaching out to his team of carriers Carlos and Ethiam, at a fair amount, and more importantly, bring my truck safe and fast.
Dean and his team kept in constant contact with me, and provided me updates. I knew that Mercury and their team was the right choice. The Toyota was picked up on the scheduled day by Carlos and Ethiam, and it was delivered to me on the scheduled day as well. I was extremely please and happy with the level of professional, dedication, commitment, and excellent business practices by Mercury and all of their team. They have in fact won me over as a customer. I will definitely consider them again in the future, and I highly recommend Mercury Auto Transport to anybody that is considering their service. Now, the only thing left for me is to learn how to drive a stick shift, as the Toyota truck is a standard transmission truck. I'm letting go of the clutch too fast, and I continue to choke/stall the poor little Toyota. I promised my sister that I would do everything in my power to keep her truck on the road, thanks to her for the gift, and Mercury for making it happen.
