Transportation of car from Florida to Michigan

We were given a vehicle from our Grandparents vacationing in Florida. Only glitch was it had to be transported from Florida to Michigan as they purchased a new vehicle, and they will be driving that home. They could not leave Florida until our vehicle was picked up. As we are new to having a vehicle transported we spent several weeks and $ with another company only to cancel with them and due to a run around and requested a refund on our deposit. (SIDE NOTE: which we have yet to see in our account). So we rolled the dice once more and went with Mercury Auto Transport, with no $ up front our vehicle was picked up in a week and delivered to our door in only 3 days. We were in contact with Tracy Nelson an agent for Mercury Auto Transport the whole time as she either by daily update text or phone call. only after a carrier picked up our account we were requested to make credit card payment to MAT for their fee and the remaining balance was paid COD to the driver of the carrier vehicle, once our vehicle was delivered. The carrier was Norm with D and B Hot Shot Trucking who was also in phone contact with us the all three days. We are very pleased with this experience. Tracy Nelson did a GREAT job as agent for MAT and Norm was the icing of our transportation cake. If we ever need to transport another vehicle these are two names and numbers we plan on using.
