Jim Gozde helped make our experience painless. Booking an auto transport was certainly a learning experience; there are lots of horror stories if you look hard enough. Really what you want is a broker who will be honest and straightforward with you about the process, and then of course we are all looking for a good deal and not to get ripped off. The broker posts your job to the board and finds you a trucking company, who gets paid their cut upon delivery. You pay the broker a separate fee for their work. Jim Gozde at Mercury Auto Transport not only offered a very competitive rate, I didn’t have to sign a contract or pay anything before knowing the final amount. Jim explained how if we had all the time in the world, he could leave a lowball price on the board until a trucking company took the contract. Or, if I was in a hurry, he could boost the amount to get the car delivered quickly. Jim found a ride for our car from FL to NC on my first available day and the final price (including both fees, everything) was still less than almost every other company’s initial quote. More importantly, Jim was responsive (answered calls and texts!), clear, helpful and just got it done for us painlessly. You can’t really ask for more. Thank you, Jim!
