I was very skeptical about shipping a car after reading about all of the horror stories. I did some research and based upon the reviews on this site, I picked Mercury Auto Transport. I called Sam Golden at Mercury on Monday morning (8/5) to ship my car from California to St.Louis, and by Monday afternoon he had my car scheduled to be picked up by Mr. Rooster's Transport. The quote of $800 I received was in the middle of the quotes I had received. I received a call from Mr. Rooster's Monday night confirming my pickup for the next day Tuesday(08/06). On Tuesday Morning I received a call from Mr. Rooster's driver (Greg) telling me to meet him ( he could not get the truck on my street) at 9:00am and he was right on time. Greg told me the car would arrive in St.Louis on 08/13 and sure enough he was right on schedule.The car arrived in the same condition it as it left. I would highly recommend both Mercury and Mr. Rooster's for shipping a vehicle.
