I recently shipped our custom 97 Mitsubishi Evolution 5 via enclosed trailer. Although it did take a week or so to find a carrier, the carrier itself did a great job. Car came as the pictures I had. My car is extremely low, maybe only 3" ground clearance. The driver got the car off the trailer without any scraps or problems. He was a great driver. He called the day prior to setup a time for drop off. The day of drop off, the driver called 1 hour in advance.

Jim @ Mercury was great. He kept me informed and helped set a reasonable bid that got picked up quick. Even though the quote was a little more than I was expecting, and slightly more than other brokers I contacted, I felt the professionalism on both Mercury and the carrier was more than worth the few extra dollars. I also started to realize shipping out of Manhattan wasnt easy, therefore origin was in Jersey to compensate for a big enclosed trailer.

I would contact Jim if you feel others giving you the run around. Or arent doing what you say/want. I will say, I contacted 4 brokers but each had their own set of problems. Most didnt do enclosed trailers. Others were just too slow in getting back to me. Nor keeping me informed.

In the end, I believe Mercury was a very wise choice. If I were to ship again, I would definitely contact Jim @ Mercury. Good luck on who you choose.
