Being a high line dealer and the fact I have used McNutt several times over the past 8 years. The driver that picked up the car was 2 days late. Tried giving me some song and dance about traffic. Not when you are two days late. He picked up the car and when he said it would be there the next day he said it would be there around 4 or 5pm. I called the transport driver and no answer (while he was to be going to Florida) I gave the client his number to be reached. The client told me that he spoke to the guy around noon and that he would be delivering the car around 4 or 5pm. The driver didn't get there until 1am! Called the client and requested that he got up to retrieve his car or he was going to leave it where it was that he had other jobs to do. This is a DIRECT reflection of my company because we hired McNutt to pick up and deliver the car and it wasn't a cheap car either. I called the dispatch person and he said he would call the customer. They never did. So we held off on paying them. We felt some sort of compensation should be done. I was told no problem. I finally was able to get the customer and the company to chat. For the client to take time out of his day is a lot. He is a very busy business owner running a multi million dollar business. I probably wont get another call back from this customer due to the transport company's VERY UNPROFESSIONAL way of handling things. They basically called the customer a liar and expected us to pay for the transport. I was told by Dustin (some person) that I was talking to him and that what I said didn't matter and the ticket had to be paid or they would turn us over to collections and they would blow up my personal cellphone daily at 7 times a day and 7 days a week at all hours if we didn't pay. I couldn't get a word in and when I tried to talk he would cut me off. TOTAL JERK! I have been in the customer service industry since I was 18 years old. I would have never talked to anyone like he did. Well guess what bub you lost a client. To anyone reading this. I wouldn't use McNutt to save a few hundred. The new management are just rude and what really ticked me off was that he said well that is part of the business. I replied by asking " It's your company policy to delivery a car at 1am?" He replied back by saying " It is what it is". Seriously? We are a moderately sized auto group that has been in the area for over 50 years. I can tell you this much. We will be using someone else to transport our vehicles from now on!
