The Lexus dealer recommended McNutt for the transportation of my vehcile and Lexus was helpful in trying to get it picked up. McNutt said my car would be picked up and delivered to me within 7-10 days of my call. Lexus said they were a great transporter. In fact they are nothing more than a broker and ended up having trouble finding a carrier to go from IL to AZ. McNutt called me 3 days after my initial call and said my vehicle was being picked up in a couple of hours. I panicked and had my wife drive the car immediately to Lexus in the next hour, where it then sat for 10 days before being picked up. After pick up I was told it would arrive 3 days later and it arrived 5 days later. I was told I would be called before it was delivered which I was and the driver said it would be delivered in 4 to 4.5 hours, so I got out of work early to be there. After 5 hours passed, I kept trying to call the driver back without success. So I sat at home wondering where the vehicle was since I left work early. 3.5 hours after I was told by the driver the vehcile would be in my neighborhood, the vehicle finally arrived late Friday night. The car was in good shape, but the failed promises and being so late were unacceptable. My wife, a teacher, had put some important things in the car she needed for work in a timely fashion and that clearly didn't happen given the vehicle was 10 days later than their promised date. I won't ever use McNutt again. This was my third time using a transport company and my worst experience yet. The other two were far superior, but the recommendation by Lexus was impressive to me, so I decided to use them. Lexus has a world class image and McNutt's reputation is a joke compared to them. Lexus is aware of this now.
Worst yet, McNutt charged my credit card on the day they said it was being picked up and I didn't recieve the car for another 16 days. A pretty lousy way to conduct business.
