CAUTION, horse died during transport

The reason we picked M and N Horse Transport is that she told us it would be a strait shot from AZ to NC with out any layovers, one of 2 horses being shipped was not a good traveler. They didn't get here till dark with no working lights on trailer. I was initially told that our horses would be the only ones on the trailer, which I found out was not going to be the case. In the end there where 3 more picked up which left one of our mares unsecured in the middle where she died during an accident. Owner of company never returned my calls as usual till the following day when she wanted me to pay for the remainder of the transport of the living horse by another company. We where promised by the owners husbands a phone call when they look thru the rebells of the trailer so we can identify our belongings they took along with our horses, that call never came. We tried to contact her a couple of weeks later without a response. Not one time did she expressed any sorrow for our loss or offered to pay for any vet bills or related accident charges. These where my daughters horses and we are devastated by this loos and in disbelieve in the lack of compassion from the company's owner.
